My name is Braden Starnes, founder and developer of this non-profit. I took my first business class as a sophomore student. I was excited to dive into this interest of mine at a deeper level. After my first week of class, however, I was perplexed as to why this course was optional and why this was content being taught so late in my schooling. I went home determined that this was information that we needed to instill in children much younger than myself to ensure that they understood basic economic and business principles and to help nurture entrepreneurship at a young age. I developed two educational programs of my own:  B is for Business, an introduction to business program for children ages 4-5 and E is for Entrepreneurship, a second level business program introducing entrepreneurial concepts ot children in Kindergarten – Grade 1.

To date, my programs are being used in over 700 schools and counting. More importantly, I know we are now preparing a future generation to be more informed consumers and stronger business people.
